Pomax Portfolio Management Software

Pomax portfolio management functions are designed to give middle management reliable views of crucial portfolio data without spending valuable time on manual data management. The very idea of Pomax is that it lets you see everything that affects portfolio performance without any brick-laying on your hands and time. It automates deal capture, splits positions into different accounts, performs real time mark-to-market and reports automatically to portfolio customers. TRADE ANYTHING, SEE EVERYTHING. You can trade anything on a Pomax, including contracts with the highest degree of complexity. The system is based upon a set of configurable forward curves, including volatility calculations, currency and interest rates and expected mark-to-market P&L. You can flexibly price different contract types, including forwards, options and profiles.

PRECONFIGURED OR MODIFIED REPORTS. Utilize the reports as they are. Or submit parameters to modify them to serve more specific needs. Specify data sets, groupings, formatting and filtering for the entire database. Schedule any frequency. Present results to anyone, internally or externally. Consolidate reports across different contracts.

TEST FOR MAJOR STRESS. These days, stress testing has become a crucial capability. Pomax lets you test your portfolio with scenarios of unlimited complexity, assessing the effect of any changes in price, volatility and volume. You´ll see all results. Redefine the shifts if you like and dare and see all effects by product, value or P&L. Pomax lets you define the standard products used for seeing the market value of positions by using a maximum smoothness algorithm, defined by Van Deventer, to smooth the forward curves and compare them at different points in time. (e.g. today´s vs. yesterdays curve)

IT´S ALL IN THE BOX. We can customize Pomax to your content requirements, but it delivers 90 % of big system functionality right out-of-the-box. The costs are less than half of the bigger systems but the output is still at 90 %. The reliability is at the highest level. Pomax uses Oracle databases and Microsoft development tools.
